As it often happens with games that are being played since a long time ago, Keno evolved into a wide range of variations. By now you should be aware that Keno has entered the world of online games, so you can play it in a casino room or at home.

Here we describe some of the available games, or rather variations, of Keno:

Video Keno

Among the most known variations of online Keno is, of course, Video Keno. This variation can also be found in land based casinos. The Video Keno machine is much like a slot machine; it offers faster games than traditional Keno and differs from it in that only one player participates, alone against the machine, with no other players involved. This is attractive for players who prefer privacy.

Standard Keno Ticket (Straight)

A standard Keno ticket is the most common way to play the game. To play this version, you simply select your numbers and wait for the draw. Some casinos may limit the maximum number of spots to less than 20.

Divided Keno Ticket (Split)

A divided ticket is similar to a standard one, but it also allows you to play two or more online Keno games with the same card.

Way Keno Ticket

Like a divided ticket, a "Way" ticket allows you to play several games online with the same number selection, although it is slightly more complicated. With this board, the player chooses at least three sets of numbers, all with the same amount of slots, to create more than one way to win. For example, the player might choose three groups of four numbers each. This type of card would be a 3/4 Way ticket.

Combine Keno Ticket (Combination)

A "Combine" ticket resembles a Way ticket, but also allows players to combine different types of sets of numbers. A Combine ticket allows you to create groups that don't contain the same amount of numbers, and that can be combined in many ways. For example, if you chose three groups of four numbers each, you can match these groups to form three different sets of eight numbers, and combine them again to form a single set of twelve numbers. This type of card would be a 3/4, 3/8 and 1/12 Combine ticket. It may seem complicated but with a little practice you will know how to use them without problems.

Multi-race Keno Ticket

If you want to save yourself having to run to the betting booth at the end of each game, you can purchase a "Multi-race" ticket. The Multi-race ticket is valid for 20 online Keno games, all with the same selection of numbers. The result is a more relaxed experience. The player can collect the proceeds upon the 20 rounds' completion. Of course, you cannot change the numbers after you select them and the first of the 20 games starts.

Keno King Ticket

Another type of ticket available is the "King" ticket, which uses a number called the "king", the one with a circle around it, in combination with other groups of numbers. This ticket can also be combined with standard, Way and Combined tickets.
